    The park is composed of 8 parcels of land located within the mountainous portion of Barangay Babag, 15 minutes from Cebu City.

Project Description

    The park was declared a tourist zone by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 2052. Owing to its abundant vegetation, plans to develop the park into an eco-tourist destination is being considered. It has undergone minimal improvements since the environment itself is already suited as a tourist attraction, with its lagoons and ponds, rolling terrain, cool climate and idyllic environment.

    From 1997 to 2001, average number of tourists that visited the region reached 915,703. As can be gleaned from the graph, the region has been experiencing a robust growth in tourism.

    Majority of foreign tourists came from Japan, U.S., Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The bulk of tourist arrivals in the region are made up of local vacationers / travelers and balikbayans.

 
How to get there

    All local airlines, and a number of international airlines, have flights going to Cebu on a regular basis. All local shipping lines call on the port of Cebu. The Park is an hour’s drive from Mactan International Airport. Taxis are on standby outside of the airport.
