Location and Geography


    The park is located at the foot of Mt. Arayat in Barangay San Juan, Municipality of Arayat, province of Pampanga. It is 90 kilometers north of Manila.

    The province of Pampanga is in Region III, situated at the mid-southern portion of Central Luzon. It is bounded on the north by Tarlac and Nueva Ecija; on the east by Bulacan; on the south by Manila Bay and Bataan; and on the west by Zambales.

Project Description

    Former President Manuel L. Quezon paid the highest tribute to this natural leisure site by declaring it a national park. Thus, the park was intended to be an eco-tourism haven where paramount concern was given towards conservation and protection of its natural resources. Since then, the park is continually being developed as such.

How to get there

    Barangay San Juan, municipality of Arayat, province of Pampanga is accessible via Gapan-Olongapo Road; 17 kms. from San Fernando Interchange. Traveling by car, it is a 1 to 1 ½ - hour drive from the North Luzon Toll ways. By public conveyances, from Monumento as starting point, it is approximately a 2-hour travel by bus (either Sierra Madre or RJ Express Bus Lines) to Arayat town proper. From there, it is about five minutes by tricycle going to San Juan Bano Resort.
