The Philippine Tourism Authority, through the approved Corporate Budget intends to apply the sum of Four Million Nine Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Seven Pesos Only (P 4,998,967.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Construction of Tourism Function Hall & Gravelling of Access Road Located at Brgy. Sapang Bato, Angeles City . Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid opening.

     The Philippine Tourism Authority now calls for the submission of Letter of Intent (LOIs) from potential Bidders to apply for eligibility for the said project. Bidders should posses a valid PCAB license applicable to the above type and cost of the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC, and meet the other minimum eligibility requirements stated in the Eligibility Documents. Interested Bidders must submit their LOIs on - January 24-30, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the address given below and secure the Eligibility Documents therefrom. Applications for eligibility will be evaluated on a " pass/fail" basis. The submission of accomplished Eligibility Documents shall be not later than 2:00 p.m. on January 31, 2008 at the BAC Secretariat and to be opened shortly thereafter. Only those Bidders passing the eligibility check will be entitled to purchase the Bidding Documents.

     Interested parties may obtain further information from Philippine Tourism Authority and inspect the necessary Documents at the Address given below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 P.M. on January 24-30, 2008 .

    A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by Bidders that passed the eligibility check upon presentation of the Notice of Eligibility to the BAC Secretariat, at the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of P 2,000.00. The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the bidder or his authorized representative on February 1-5, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 P.M.

     The Philippine Tourism Authority will hold a Pre-Bid Conference open to all Eligible Bidders on February 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the following address

     Eligible Bidders must submit their Bids at the BAC Secretariat not later than 2:00 p.m. on February 19, 2008 . All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form and amount stated in ITB. Late Bids shall not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
